Why families choose us
High Potential and Gifted Education
High Potential and Gifted students are those whose potential is distinctly above average in one or more of the following areas of ability at school - intellectual, creative, social and physical.
Our co-curricular activities provide these students with learning opportunities on top of the normal curriculum.
Sport
Kareela Public School provides many opportunities for our students to participate in quality sport and physical activity experiences that enhance their learning and development.
School sport operates as a stage-based weekly program on Fridays, often incorporating competitive and non-competitive elements. Sports programs on offer include golf, AFL, cricket, tennis, surf awareness and swimming lessons. Students successfully build their skills to participate in whole school swimming, cross country and athletics carnivals, as well as compete weekly in PSSA competitions.
Kareela Public School is a member of the Sutherland Zone PSSA, Sydney East PSSA and NSW PSSA.
